COMMUNITY EVENT Stratford Poppies

Poppy Campaign season is upon us! Every year the cadets assist the Legion poppy campaign by going into the community, standing outside of stores, and accepting donations to the poppy fund. The cadets hand out poppies to people within the community and thank them for their contributions.

All funds collected go to veterans in need both in our community and across the nation. IT is an important part of the cadet program. It allows our cadets to do their part to say thank you to those that fought for their freedom, and shows everyone that our cadets will remember them.

We ask cadets to participate in a minimum of 1 shift (half day). Cadet that cannot participate need to obtain leave permission from the CO. Cadets that help for the entire day are fed lunch.
